What is a Branded Residence?

Have you ever spent a night at a hotel and woke up the next working wishing you could live there? Well that’s the reality for some people, who chose to live in what is called a branded residence.

Although branded residences aren’t exactly new to the market, many people are not yet familiar with what they are despite their growth over the years. Branded residences are incorporated into hotels, including the luxuries of all services and facilities. They have rapidly evolved and are a growing concept in luxury housing.

In the past, these dwellings were most popular amongst the wealthy, and those who often traveled. Choosing to reside there allowed resident users to benefit from all hotel services such as cleaning and laundry services when they were not present.

Despite their popularity amongst those who were wealthy but time-poor, in recent years there has been a shift in consumer expectations, leaving design as a critical part of creating the space, attracting a more diverse group of people. Now these spaces not only attract those with money, but they have began to attract those who specifically seek out luxury, prestige, privacy and security, all of which are achieved through design.

As standards in the hotel industry have risen, the luxury spaces now demand similar standards. Such examples are private dining rooms and cinemas, and even health and fitness facilities. By applying lessons taken from the hotel sector, residential developers have helped to create individuality and also exclusivity in these spaces.

It’s easy to see that branded residences are the perfect fit for some people. These residences are specifically branded similarly to a hotel to provide the buyer with a sense of identification with a certain lifestyle and taste.
