Designing The Coolest Kids Rooms

February 23, 2017

Let’s face it, moms and dads, sometimes it can be a challenging task to figure out where to start when designing a kids room, whether it be a bedroom or playroom.

To a kid, a room isn’t just a place to sleep – it’s a place to laugh, play, grow, and discover. It’s a safe and comfortable place, where the imagination feels free to wander.

It’s no surprise that kids spend a lot of time in their own bedroom, whether using it for sleeping, playing or working, the fact is their space should be a reflection of their amazing personalities.

THESE BEDS WILL HAVE KIDS BEGGING TO GO TO THEIR ROOMS!
From classic, contemporary to completely extravagant – these kids room ideas are endless. Bedtime will become the most waited moment of the day.

“Now parents cannot punish their children telling them to go to their bedrooms.” – Andre Oliveira, brand’s director, and head designer. –Circu

Fantasy Air Ballon inspired in the world of adventure is the perfect piece for your kids to dream and be happy! This bed can be customized for little girls or boys. When they grew up, this baby nest can be transformed into a teen sofa. With large storage capacities, this amazing piece will help parents organize their kid’s room.

For your kids, this teepee will be a luxury sanctuary, which they’ll truly love. A room with tribal style is a beautiful tribute to native cultures and is a great way to teach kids the value of loving nature.

Little mermaid bed, another great creation designed by Circu, is a shell shaped bed. Shells are meant to protect little pearls, to protect them from the mother nature. This princess bed will also protect your little girl, and help her to dream and become an undersea princess.

Pastel colors are great in children’s bedrooms, mixing pastels makes it really easy to achieve a look that is both soothing and fun. Grey is a very versatile color which will coordinate beautifully with just about any other hue. It’s also a great gender neutral colour.

Other trends + ideas for kids rooms:

1. Wallpaper is in and there are a lot of options to choose from for your child’s room.

2. Using natural wood for furniture is becoming popular.

3. Using patterns everywhere. You can create a great pattern by applying decals, painting your walls, applying wallpaper, choosing pattern rugs or selecting printed bedding.

4. Ceiling designs can really make a room stand out. A ceiling mural adds a beautiful and magical effect for a child’s bedroom.

SOME IDEAS FOR DESIGNING AN INSPIRATIONAL PLAYROOM

The playroom is a lot more than just a place where kids spend a few hours, it is a space that allows them to tap into their energy, creativity, and imagination. Marrying beautiful themes with smart storage solutions, the perfect playroom is a space that both adults and kids appreciate.

Rocky Rocket is a masterpiece all handmade. Kids are passionate about adventure and superheroes and Circu captures that essence with Rocky Rocket. The body is made in fiberglass and the interior is made of red velvet upholstery.  It has a light and sound system incorporated. which are controlled by a mobile app with several options: choice of music, light effects, and sleep time. The four engines are also storage compartments. How cool!

Playrooms are full of activity, but playroom decor should also encourage quiet time. Whether creating a dedicated playroom space or doing double duty with a multipurpose room, encourage quiet time with a reading nook complete with space-saving playroom decor.

Organization is a never-ending battle in a kid’s room. A well-organized children’s room offers two big benefits: kids can find what they’re looking for fast, and the room stays neater because everything has a place. Storage benches or window seats can help maximize space, while beanbags, cushions, and pillows can be stacked away when not in use.

We hope these ideas have inspired you to dream a little about creating a magical space for your child to sleep and play!
